I’m a London-based illustrator, pattern designer and founder of Ink & Wren. I design primarily for wallpaper, fabric and stationery, with a passion for curating hand-drawn designs that spark the imagination and bring joy.

I've embarked on a journey that weaves together my passion for creativity and nature, blending my experiences and expertise in art, storytelling and product towards design.

The story behind Ink & Wren

For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved the permanent and personal nature of ink on paper to capture stories, sentiments and art. Much of my own design artwork begins with a sketch using a dip pen and ink. Two of my most precious possessions are a stack of letters that my grandparents wrote to one another, as well as my mum’s old recipe book jam-packed with scribbles, sketches and annotated with secret ingredients. Seeing their handwriting makes me feel close to them.

Wrens are often associated with creativity and expression, as well as transformation and renewal which feels relevant to my own life experiences. There is also a little wren outside of my window here in London that sings me a song most mornings and reminds me that despite the hustle and bustle of the city, nature’s little reminders are everywhere to help us retain perspective. It is in nature and my passion for capturing the beauty and uniqueness of place where I could easily spend hours sketching and gathering inspiration for my next designs.
